Reebok Promotional Shoot
/After receiving a phone call from a Reebok representative regarding a Photoshoot to promote their new range of women's Leggings, I obviously jumped at the opportunity. The brief was to photograph an evening event held in one of the Reebok Stores in the Bluewater Shopping centre in Kent. There would be Hair Stylists, Make-up Artists and around 30 'models' wearing the leggings. My job was to record the event from start to finish, shooting the girls having their hair and make-up done first of all.
I Then had to capture them taking part in a fitness class hosted by a Reebok Fitness Instructor (The same lady who called me about the gig in the first place). Which added an element of competition between everyone taking part, with teams being contstructed based on legging colour!
After all the fun and games with some of the girls winning Reebok Gift Cards for winning their challenges, it was time to get some staged shots. The staged shots were a little more challenging, due to the number of women we needed to get into shot and the relatively small setting we were making use of. However after a couple of different poses and positions we got some great shots of the girls and gear.
After all the serious shots were taken care of it was time to get some big group shots with everyone involved having a good time! These shots kind of reminded me of a wedding shoot, with all the family after the ceremony, traditionally the shots most photographers hate, however these ones at Reebok were good fun and came out great!
After we got all the shots needed, it was time to relax. I managed to grab a few more candid shots when everyone was winding down, which I think shows that everyone had a great time, including myself. It was a great experience, and something I have never shot before, with a client I've never worked with before, so there was a lot of pressure, but I was really please with the images and so were Reebok, more importantly.
